Shift Consulting is a division of GoodShift Private Limited, a registered Indian company that designs, builds and operates its own software products.
Where this came from
GoodShift builds software products — a pet care platform live on both app stores, a desktop AI meeting copilot, a media player on Google Play, and a rider platform in development. Building one of those, CypherMeet, meant spending a long time on a question nobody had answered well: what does it actually take to assess someone fairly in an hour?
The answer turned out to be unglamorous — a fixed rubric, the same questions for everyone, scoring against criteria agreed in advance, and a record of what was covered. Once that worked, the gap in recruitment was obvious. Most agencies forward a CV and an impression. We could forward a CV and the evidence.
How we intend to operate
Narrow and slow. We take a small number of searches at a time, in roles we can genuinely assess, and we would rather turn work down than run our own process badly. The moment we are taking on more searches than we can screen properly, the only thing that makes us different stops being true.
We are new — Shift Consulting launched in 2026 — and we are not going to dress that up. What you get instead of a client list is the founders working your search directly, and a screening process no established agency in this market runs.
