For candidates

You will never
pay us anything.

Our fee comes from the company doing the hiring. Not from you — not a registration fee, a training fee, a placement fee or a deposit. There is no situation in which we ask a candidate for money.

If anyone asks you to pay in our name, it is a scam.

Our only email domains are shiftconsulting.in and shiftconsulting.in. We never ask for payment through personal bank accounts, UPI or messaging apps. If something looks wrong, forward it to info@shiftconsulting.in and we will confirm whether it came from us.

What to expect

A process that respects your time.

  1. We tell you what the job actually is

    The company, the team, the stack, the salary range as we understand it. You should be able to decide whether it is worth your evening before you spend one on it.

  2. You know the rubric before the interview

    We will tell you which areas the technical round covers and roughly how deep it goes. Surprise is not a useful test of competence.

  3. The interview is the same for everyone

    Same questions, same scoring, for every candidate for that role. Nobody gets an easier round because of where they studied or who they know.

  4. You get your report

    What was covered, what you got right, where you struggled. Whether or not you get the job — and whether or not you want to work with us again — you leave with something you can use.

  5. You get an answer either way

    Including when it is a no. If we put you forward and the company declines, we tell you, and we tell you why where we are allowed to.

Your data

Your CV does not get sprayed around.

We share your details with a company only after you have agreed to be put forward for that specific role. We do not add you to a database that gets forwarded to anyone paying for access.

Your details go to a company only when you say yes to that role.

Deletion on request

Ask us to remove your data and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.

Consent before monitoring

If a client asks for integrity checks, you see exactly what is checked and agree first.

No covert recording

We do not secretly record candidates. Ever.
